Once again the blessed month of Ramadhan is upon us.  Ramadhan is time for reflection, and contemplation; a time when we must realise and face up to our faults and to the mistakes and errors that we have committed over the past year; it is a time to seek forgiveness; a time to fight injustice, be it within ourselves or in society as a whole.

Ramadhan is also a time for remember our Awaited Master; al-Hujjat ibn al-Hasan a-Qaim min Aal-i-Muhammad(May our souls be his ransom); a time when we should realise - especially with the global situation as it is - that the world needs the wisdom and sanity that the grandson of Prophet Muhammad(S) will bring.

We pray to Allah to hasten the return of our Master, the son of Zahra(A), al-Hujjat ibn al-Hasan(May our souls be his ransom).

During the month of Ramadhan, it is recommended to recite  as much Quran as you can, and after iftar, Dua al-Iftitah daily, before suhur (the meal before you start your fast early in the morning) it is recommended to recite Dua as-Sahar; you can find all the adiyaat (supplicaitons) on Islamic Digest; with specific links below:

This year, Islamic Digest has teamed up with our respected Sisters Fatima Hassan and Aaliya Sibtain of Karachi, Pakistan and developed some powerpoint presentations that will educate children about Islamic and Ramadhan.
